It has been a busy month for our team, with our work taking us across the country to meet with partners, support projects, provide training, and see firsthand the impact of the work happening in the communities we serve.
Over the past several weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to spend time at Broward College for training, visit Big Dog Ranch Rescue to discuss potential grant opportunities, participate in the State Policy Network Conference, and make site visits to Tidewater Community College and Blue Ridge Community and Technical College. We also returned to Blue Ridge for the dedication of its new Plastics Training Lab—an exciting milestone that shows what can happen when funding, planning, and strong partnerships come together around workforce and education needs.
Our team has been equally busy, traveling to South Dakota to support workforce development planning and continuing our work in Arkansas and across the country. Being on the ground with our customers gives us the opportunity to better understand their needs and connect grant development, workforce strategy, training, evaluation, and technical assistance to the work happening in their communities.
It has been a month filled with miles, meetings, and meaningful work, but more importantly, it has been a reminder of the strength of the partnerships behind it. Whether we are helping develop a new initiative, supporting implementation, providing training, or seeing a completed project in action, our focus remains the same: helping turn good ideas into stronger programs and meaningful results.
