The Grants Clearinghouse (TGC) is on the road this week sponsoring, presenting, and exhibiting at the Florida Council for Resource Development’s (FCRD) Spring Conference in Avon Park, FL. One of the foundational principles of TGC is helping grantees create sustainable practices as soon as they are awarded a grant, rather than waiting until the “house is burning down.” By focusing on preventable measures instead of reactive measures, grantees can save a substantial amount of time, money, and headaches. This was the message delivered by Mason Bishop and Susan Seliquini during their presentation at FCRD.
TGC understands that some issues grant awardees face may not be their fault. Whether it is staff turnover or changes in organizational initiatives, when applying for a grant, it can be hard to predict operational procedures. This is where TGC can HELP YOU! Whether your organization needs a quick refresh or complete hands-on help, rest assured, TGC is here.
TGC offers multiple courses including our acclaimed Grant Manager 101. These courses can help grantees refresh their knowledge and skills as they begin to PERFORM on their grant. In addition, TGC offers interim project management. This helps grantees with their project deliverables, especially if they are struggling to find a project manager.
Please reach out if TGC can help you with these, or any other grant related services. TGC is grateful to be at FCRD this week, and looks forward to seeing grantees on the road or in the field.
