WorkED Hired to Evaluate Western Technical College’s SCC4 Project

Jul 11, 2025

We are excited to announce that TGC founding company, WorkED Consulting, has been hired as Western Technical College‘s third-party evaluator as part of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Strengthening Community Colleges program. Nine of the sixteen Wisconsin Technical College System colleges are participating in this consortium project led by Western Technical College. The Smarts and Parts grant was developed to create pathways to advanced manufacturing careers through industry recognized credentials with the intention to share the developed curriculum and outcomes with the rest of the system colleges.

The WorkED/TGC team will provide comprehensive evaluation services, offer data-driven reviews and recommendations, and help identify sustainable practices that address capacity and service gaps.

The Strengthening Community Colleges (SCC) Training Grants Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, supports community colleges in building capacity to meet workforce needs and help students secure quality jobs in high-demand fields. Learn more here.
