Happy 2025 (and Valentine’s Day) from The Grants Clearinghouse (TGC) and WorkED Consulting (WorkED)!
We are now over a month into 2025, and we are continually at work helping our clients navigate rapid change. We have prioritized constant communications with clients and want to be a source of important and key information. We also communicate regularly with federal agencies and have a deep understanding of how federal appropriations work, meaning we have been able to quickly answer client questions, contextualize changes, and adjust strategies, as needed.
Looking back over 2023 and 2024, we are excited to announce that over the past two years we have grown over 200%. Our group of experts is now 10 full-time team members and 12 part-time team members. With a bigger team, we look forward to expanding project capacity and efficiency in 2025.
Also in 2024, we are proud to have completed and continued work on over 65 active projects. One highlight was completing work on the GO Virginia Region 6 Talent Pathways Initiative Report which included a full situational analysis, an asset map of training resources, and strategic recommendations to improve workforce attachment. We also facilitated Virginia Career Works-Northern’s Three-Year Strategic Plan, which includes key goals and objectives for workforce activities in Northern Virginia.
Throughout the year, TGC and WorkED performed grant administration and support for a wide range of projects. With the recent changes around grants, we are providing strategic guidance and analysis for our clients to help them maneuver through the tide of changes.
In 2025, we look forward to continuing our top-tier grants consulting, workforce policy engagement, and grants management. We will be offering more and updated grants management courses, including a new Grants Manager 102 course aimed at helping remain compliant with budgeting and financing of your grant projects.
